THE WORLD INVITRO FERTILIZATION (IVF) DAY

On July 22, 2023, Sresakthimayeil Institute of Nursing and Research students celebrated the World In vitro fertilization (IVF) Day with great enthusiasm in Olapalayam , Namakkal. The event took place at the community area and was inaugurated by Mrs. R. Jamunarani, M.Sc. , Ph.D., principal, SSINAR, Komarapalayam. B.Sc. Nursing III year students and members of the local community actively participated. The main objective of the program was to raise awareness about the advancements in IVF technology and its potential to help couples facing fertility issues. During the event, the students presented an informative and engaging concept skit to showcase the process and benefits of IVF. The skit emphasized the importance of early detection of infertility issues, the role of IVF in overcoming these challenges, and the emotional support required for couples undergoing fertility treatments. The learning outcomes of the students were evident through their well-researched presentations and confident performances of IVF Technology, Awareness of Infertility Issues, Benefits and Advancements in IVF, Emotional and Psychological Impact Overall, the World IVF Day celebration in Namakkal was a resounding success, leaving a positive impact on both the students and the community. The event served as a platform to disseminate knowledge about IVF technology and promote a more compassionate and understanding approach towards infertility-related challenges.
