The festival of Onam was celebrated with great grandeur and enthusiasm at Sresakthimayeil Institute of Nursing and Research, Kumarapalayam on 3rd September 2025 at our JKKNCNR Campus. The entire campus came alive with the festive spirit, blending tradition, joy, and togetherness. 🌸
The celebration began with the Onam Name Revealing Ceremony, officially marking the start of the festive day. The unveiling created an air of excitement and pride among everyone present.
💐 A stunning Pookalam (floral carpet) was artistically created by our talented students, symbolizing prosperity and harmony. The vibrant colors of the flowers reflected the richness of Kerala’s heritage and brought beauty to the occasion.
🥁 The powerful beats of the Chenda Melam filled the air with energy, setting the festive rhythm and transporting everyone into the cultural essence of Onam.
💃 The graceful Thiruvathirai Dance performed by our students added elegance to the event. With its rhythmic steps and traditional charm, the performance captivated the audience and showcased Kerala’s artistic heritage.
🎉 A series of traditional games and activities brought laughter, excitement, and healthy competition, making the celebration even more engaging and memorable.
