Sresakthimayeil Institute of Nursing and Research Komarapalayam, conducted the Alumni meet on 29.04.2023 at 10 am. The event started with a prayer song, setting a reverent tone for the day activities. The event was inaugurated by the principal of the institute, Mrs. R. Jamunarani, who welcomed all the alumni and expressed her joy at seeing so many familiar faces. The principal spoke about the progress the institute has made over the years and how the Alumni have contributed to its growth and success. The highlight of the event was the speech given by Ms. Kaviyasri, M.Sc(N), an Alumna of the nursing department. In her speech, Ms. Kaviyasri shared her experience in recalling fond memories of her time at the institute and how it shaped her as a professional nurse. She expressed her gratitude to the faculty and staff for their guidance and support throughout her academic journey. Following Ms. Kaviyasri speech, Mrs.Uma,M.Sc(N), Associate professor who gave a vote of thanks, expressing their appreciation for the Alumni who took the time to attend the event and share their experiences. Students also shared their aspirations for the future and how they hoped to follow in the footsteps of the successful alumni who had gone before them. The event concluded with the singing of the national anthem, reminding everyone present of the importance of patriotism and national pride. Overall, the Alumni meet was a great success, bringing together past and present students and fostering a sense of community and belonging within the institute.
