On 27th April 2023 at 3 pm, Sresakthimayeil Institute of Nursing and Research in Kumarapalayam conducted a program to commemorate Earth Day. The program was inaugurated by the Principal, Mrs. R. Jamunarani M.Sc.(N), Ph.D. During the event, students and faculty members participated in taking the pledge related to Earth Day. The program aimed to create awareness among students and faculty members about the importance of protecting the environment and conserving natural resources. The participants were encouraged to take an active role in protecting the planet and to be responsible citizens. The students and faculty members actively participated in the program, displaying their commitment to the cause. The event was a great success, and it left a lasting impression on the participants, encouraging them to take a more active role in protecting the environment. The program was a fitting tribute to Earth Day and the need to protect our planet for future generations. Students gained knowledge about Earth Day celebration related information, developed desirable attitude towards it and were able to practice whatever they gained during that session.
