The Institution Innovation Council entrepreneurship and Research development cell of JKKN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS Pharmacy, Nursing department was celebrated” WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DAY” on 26th April 2023 at 1.30pm in Senthur raja Hall. Dr. Arun. R Associate Professor, Head of the department of Pharmaceutics JKKN College of Pharmacy was the guest speaker. Discussion session started with prayer song followed by welcome speech. He discussed the importance of celebration of world Intellectual Property Rights day, theme-Women & IP: Accelerating Innovation & Creativity, the concept of patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, and geographical indications through significant questions associated with these IPs. He further highlighted the need to decipher inventiveness in research projects, artwork, and designs. The technology transfer to industry as exclusive rights to a process, technology in public domain, join patents, and commercialization of patent aspects were also discussed. Students were motivated to initiate the dialogue with the IP experts, mentors, and faculty to file IPs. The students are submitted feedback form.
