National Vaccination Day was held on 16th March 2023 in
Sresakthimayeil Institute of Nursing College campus (JKKN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS). The program started with a prayer song. In that program, the welcome speech was given by Principal Mrs.R.Jamunarani, felicitation was done by Mr.Ommsharravana, Director, JKKN educational institution. Following the speech the chief guest Dr. Dhanasekar M.B.B.S., M.D (PAED) CCEBDM (DIAB) Consultant pediatrician and neonatologist, Government Hospital, perundurai gave a speech about the importance of ensuring that everyone has to access the vaccine. They might also discuss the importance of vaccine education outreach and the ways in which communities can work together to ensure that everyone has access to the vaccines they need. After we conduct an intercollege competition of quizzes related to vaccination and immunization and provide the achievement certificate to the students.
Learning Outcome:
Students gained knowledge about vaccination and
immunization to develop desirable attitudes towards it and are able to practice whatever they gained during that session.
