🏃♂️ Marathon Spirit & Medical Service: A Day of Pride for Our Students – 6th April 2025 🩺
We are proud to share the remarkable involvement of our students from Sresakthimayeil Institute of Nursing and Research, Kumarapalayam in the Kumarapalayam Bypass Marathon held on 6th April 2025.
The event was not just a platform for fitness enthusiasts but also a space where community service and healthcare awareness came to the forefront — thanks to our final-year B.Sc. Nursing students.
💫 Active Participation in the Marathon
Our students energetically took part in the marathon, joining hundreds of runners from the local community in promoting physical fitness, health awareness, and unity. With great enthusiasm and college spirit, they completed the run along the Kumarapalayam bypass, representing our institution with pride.
⛑️ First Aid Camp by Final-Year Nursing Students
What truly made the event special was the First Aid Camp organized and managed by our final-year nursing students. Positioned strategically along the marathon route, the camp provided immediate medical assistance to runners experiencing fatigue, cramps, or minor injuries. Their readiness, skill, and compassionate care were highly appreciated by both organizers and participants.
This dual participation as both runners and caregivers beautifully reflected the values we stand for: service, leadership, and community health. Events like these provide our students with real-world experiences that reinforce classroom learning and enhance professional confidence.
